How can I sign up?
You just need a university email to register. This way you know everyone on the platform is a real student - making it easier to find classmates from your courses!
What if I change my phone or clear my browser?

Your data is stored locally on your device, so it's worth making regular backups.

How does it work?

  • Click the Backup button in the app - it will save a file to your device
  • The app will remind you about backups if you haven't done one in a while
  • When changing devices, just restore your data from the backup file

How much does it cost?

During the beta testing period, the app is completely free!

As a thank you to our beta testers - access will remain free forever for them.

After testing ends, the semester fee will be about the price of one coffee - because we believe a good study tool should be accessible to every student.

How do I install the app on iPhone/iPad?
  1. Open StudyM8 in Safari
  2. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up)
  3. Select "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Done! The icon will appear on your home screen
How do I install the app on Android?
  1. Open StudyM8 in Chrome
  2. Tap the menu (three dots in the top right corner)
  3. Select "Install app"
  4. Done! You'll find it with your other apps
How do I install the app on my computer?
  1. Open StudyM8 in Chrome or Edge
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar (or in the browser menu)
  3. Click "Install"
  4. The app will appear in your Start menu (Windows) or Launchpad (Mac)
Who has access to my data?

Only you! Your academic data (subjects, tasks, notes) is stored locally on your device.

On our servers, we only keep what's necessary for the app to work: email, name, and friends list.

Everything is encrypted and compliant with GDPR. We don't sell your data to anyone.
